XM Radio "Sixties On 6" WTMA Tributes

Once upon a time, between 4 and 9 p.m. Eastern on Fridays, XM Radio's "Sixties On 6" channel paid tribute to one of the legendary 1960s Top 40 stations. On three different occasions -- in 2006, 2007 and 2008 -- WTMA was honored in this fashion. We had the pleasure of supplying host Terry "Motormouth" Young with WTMA jingles and airchecks, as well as polling many of the past WTMA "Good Guys" about Charleston landmarks and events from the sixties (which Young used to make it sound like he was on WTMA). Thanks again to all who contributed...and an extra-special 5,000 watt TMA thank you to John Burwell and Mike Griffin who made it possible for us to provide scoped airchecks of the 2006 and 2008 5-hour tributes for you to download below. (The 2007 XM WTMA tribute was recorded but was lost on a crashed hard drive before it could be put online.)
