Popular WTMA 1960s and 1970s air personality Bob "Booby" Nash passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2017 after a short illness. While he spent most of his Charleston radio career at WTMA, Booby also worked for WKTM and WCSC.
After leaving WCSC in 1986, he entered into full-time ministry including many years pastoring a church on James Island. We are fortunate to have several of Booby's WTMA airchecks online, as well as a 1991 appearance on WTMA's Dan Moon show and a three-part audio interview conducted by John Quincy in 2005. Booby Nash will be missed by many.
