Part of the "fun" when you worked on the air at 1250 WTMA in the 1970s was being responsible for the automated FM station, WPXI (95.1) which was down the hall from the WTMA control room. This included changing music reels and recording newscasts and weather forecasts. To coordinate who did what when, Lee Richards issued these schedules in 1974:

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, APRIL 1, 1974 at 5:00 A.M., PIXIE WILL BEING TO OPERATE UNDER A NEW FORMAT.

The news and weather schedule which were are now using will stay in effect,, however there will be major additions to the weather schedule. From 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. and from 11:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. there will be weather at the half-hour of every hour. This should be the same short style of forecast that you use every quarter hour during drive times.
